Myla Toliver

Myla Toliver

Co-Founder

An undergraduate at Yale University studying the history of science, medicine, and public health. She serves as a student worship leader and lead musician for the Black Church at Yale, bringing together her passion for faith, music, and community.

Inspired by her own experiences and the challenges her family and community have faced around weight and emotional wellness, Myla founded Fit in Faith. She aspires to become a physician, committed to addressing both the physical and emotional dimensions of health.

Dr. James Frater

Dr. James Frater

Co-Founder

A UK-trained medical doctor and PhD student in Public Health at Yale, with an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Harvard. His work focuses on designing healthcare solutions that meet people where they live, work, and feel most comfortable.

Previously the UK G20 Youth Delegate for Health, Wellbeing & Sport, co-author of a book chapter on health outcomes in the Caribbean with Professor David Williams, and a contributor to a national playbook supporting U.S. state health departments on homelessness as a health challenge.
